Most UK manufacturers buying dried ingredients from China buy them through an importer, at a price that includes a markup they never see. The supplier is unknown to them, and one relationship stands between them and a shortage.
Manifest Trading Co works the other way round. We find the right supplier in China for what you need, check their certification and export history, and negotiate in Mandarin on your behalf. Then we introduce you directly, and you deal with them on your own terms.
We are paid by you, at a rate agreed before we start. We take nothing from the supplier and nothing on the goods.

You tell us the grade you run: cut size or mesh, moisture, colour, sulphur status, annual volume, packing format.
We approach suppliers directly and in Mandarin, and come back with three quotes, each with certification, capacity and export history.
We have them send samples against your specification, direct to your technical team.
You deal with the supplier directly from there. Price, terms, testing and shipping are agreed between you and them.
We invoice you 3% on the order value. Nothing from the supplier, nothing on the goods.
We stay on the account: repeat orders, seasonal price movement, and a second qualified supplier so you are never on a single source.
